Join Eat Auckland for this unique Giapo experience.

Thursday 16 November 6.30pm  – 8.30pm approx
12 Gore Street Auckland City.

On arrival you will be served a glass of bubbles and get to meet Giapo and his lovely wife Annarosa. After a quick tour of the new Giapo kitchen, Giapo and Annarosa will guide you through a hands on experience making a Giapo specialty. Yes! including making the ice cream and of course you get to eat your creation after taking selfies with it of course! The special event is limited to 12 people. $109

As part of the Auckland Heritage Festival we have organised a short stroll from Summer Street to Three Lamps reminiscing about some of the eateries from yesteryear that helped define Ponsonby’s cool. The tour finishes at Augustus Bistro with Ponsonby-style petits-fours with wine, coffee or tea. (included in the price) Food historian André Taber and chef local food lover Lisa Loveday are your guides.

Join us at Vodka Room’s Chef’s table for a special five-course meal with matching vodka sips designed by Head Chef Murray Wiblin. Seating us right next to the gold-tiled pass, Murray will talk you through the meal and the inspiration behind the food and the decor of this amazing Ponsonby restaurant. If you haven’t dined here yet you must join Eat Auckland for this unique experience.

The meal consists of 5 courses and each course comes with a vodka taster matched to the Russian-inspired menu and the dessert comes with an espresso martini.
