Sandringham Food and Spice Tour 

Taste traditional Indian & Sri Lankan cuisine right here in Auckland. Our Walking Food Tour explores the flavours and ingredients created by centuries of trade and movement across this vast region. Our dedicated foodie guide will introduce you to the best Sandringham Village has to offer and our host restaurants will share their passions and knowledge.

This tour can cater for Vegetarian and Gluten free.

Dominion Road – Taste of China

This tasty and exciting tour takes you down this vibrant part of Dominion Road tasting and experiencing Chinese food & culture. We stop at six different restaurants and three different shops. You will learn and taste from many different cuisines of China.

This tour can cater for dairy free, however it is not suitable for vegetarian or gluten free diets.

Ponsonby Food Tour (Details coming soon)

Covid has accelerated the rate of change on Ponsonby Road, with many restaurants closing and new ones opening. We are going to take stock of the changes and aim to come back with an improved tour. Watch this space!

Downtown Korean Food Tour  (Currently under review)

Korean Food is so much more than BBQ & Kimchi. Come explore the many delicious dishes that few New Zealanders have experienced. Our Korean Food Tour is in the heart of Auckland City. We meet in Aotea Square and finish in The Chancery stopping to taste just a few of the many great Korean restaurants in Auckland. Our knowledgeable guides will take you on a journey to discover the many influences both ancient and modern which have created Koreas unique cuisine.

On this 3 hour tour we taste 8-9 different dishes and sample Korea’s famous liquor Soju, so be sure to come hungry.

Food & drink are included in the price.

The food on this tour contains meat, gluten and dairy and alcohol is served. We are unable to offer alternatives for those whose dietary requirements exclude these ingredients.

New for 2021 Panmure Taste of Sri Lanka

I’m excited to be bringing EatAuckland’s first new tour of 2021! Sri Lanka is one of my favourite food destinations, so I was excited to find wonderful examples of Sri Lankan cuisine here on our doorstep. Sri Lanka has a long and rich history which is reflected in the food, even today. Starting with King Coconut water and finishing with high country tea, our tour includes hoppers, kottu, curries and much more.

Vegetarian options are available on this tour, but it is not suitable for those requiring gluten free or vegan diets.

New for 2021 Panmure Hidden Tastes

While exploring Panmure, I was surprised to find so many hidden, authentic food gems, which I’ve assembled into a grand tour of global proportions! On this tour you will learn what’s in a Bunny (clue its nothing to do with a rabbit!), taste new curries, flat breads from the Middle East and dishes fit for an emperor from China.

This tour cannot cater for anyone with special dietary requirements.
